This policy explains what personal data this site and the QBIT software collect, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: we collect what we need to answer you, deliver your licence and keep the site running, and nothing else.

Who is responsible

The data controller is [TBD: legal entity name and address], referred to as “QBIT”, “we” or “us”.

What we collect and why

  • Contact form. Your name, email address and message. Used only to answer you.
  • Waitlist. Your email address. Used to send one email when QBIT for DeepCharts ships. It is not a newsletter.
  • Purchases. The checkout provider collects what it needs to take payment and sends us your email address and order details so we can deliver the software and the licence. We do not receive or store card numbers.
  • Licence activation. [TBD: what the licence system stores, e.g. machine identifier]. Used to check that a licence is valid and to enforce the machine limit.
  • Server logs. The web server records the IP address, the page requested, the time and the browser type of each request. Used to keep the site secure and to diagnose faults.

The QBIT indicators and V-Bridge do not send your trades, your account details or your platform credentials to us. V-Bridge runs on your PC and talks to your own MetaTrader 5 terminal; its diagnostics zip is sent to us only if you attach it to a support request.

Legal basis

We process contact and purchase data because it is needed to answer you and to perform the contract you entered. We process waitlist emails with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. We keep server logs on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure site.

Where it is stored

The site and its database are hosted by [TBD: hosting provider and region]. Email is handled by [TBD: email provider].

Third parties

We share data only with the providers that make the site work: [TBD: checkout provider] for payments, [TBD: email provider] for email and [TBD: hosting provider] for hosting. Each acts under its own privacy policy and a data-processing agreement where one is required. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers.

Cookies

For visitors the site sets no cookies beyond the essential ones WordPress needs to work, for example to remember a form you submitted. There is no advertising and no tracking pixel. [TBD: analytics, if any]

Retention

  • Contact messages: kept while the question is open and for [TBD: retention period] afterwards, then deleted.
  • Waitlist emails: deleted after the launch email is sent, or as soon as you ask.
  • Purchase and licence records: kept for as long as your licence is active and as long as tax law requires.
  • Server logs: [TBD: log retention period].

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, receive a copy of it, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent you gave earlier. Write to [TBD: support email] and we will answer within one month. If you think we have handled your data wrongly, you can also complain to the data-protection authority where you live.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the current version.
